6 Weeks in Jungle Paradise
Santa Teresa is a small beach town retreat for those who long for year round sunshine, abundant surfing opportunities and plenty of places to do yoga. Relatively unspoiled by big-time tourism, this postcard perfect town is the ideal place to combine work with relaxation and/or adrenaline filled activities – we are excited to go back for the fourth time already.
Playa Santa Teresa and Playa Carmen rank among the most beautiful beaches of Costa Rica. Take a long hike along the picturesque coastline, bathe in tidal pools or find a nice place under a palm tree for loafing and reading a book. Truly, you will be working from paradise.
Costa Rica’s reputation for being a surfing heaven it’s well deserved. Home to some of the best breaks in the world, Costa Rica offers consistent year-round surfing with comfortable water temperatures and waves to entertain any level of surfer. Get ready to face the raging waves in Santa Teresa!

Immerse yourself in the sights, sounds, and smells of the Cloud Forest. Located in the Central Highlands amid a volcanic mountain range with lush primary forest, the largely undiscovered Bajos del Toro is a great destination for nature enthusiasts and hikers. Climb a volcano, go horseback riding, river rafting or zip line through the treetops.
Keep Calm and Yoga
Revitalize in a soul enriching getaway. Take a deep breath of clean ocean air, listen to the sounds of the waves, and find yourself surrounded by lush rainforest – the perfect environment to disconnect from all the noise and put your life back in balance.
Meet The Rainforest Dwellers
Costa Rica’s rainforests are home to some of the world’s most diverse wildlife: From toucans, to great green macaws, or jaguars, from turtles that hatch before your eyes on the beaches by moonlight, to those chilled-out sloths taking life at their own pace.

Dare to go water rafting in Arenal, zipline across treetops or ride a quadbike across the lush rainforest. And if motorized vehicles don’t capture your fancy, ride on a horseback along the endless coastline in search of “pura vida”.
Our Home in Costa Rica
Our home in Santa Teresa is boutique hotel with space for 20 Tribers. Perched on a hillside, amidst the jungle and above the hustle and bustle of town, the Casa provides panoramic views of the Pacific Ocean. We’ve selected this place specifically with COVID front of mind – the ideal set-up during times with lots of outdoor community space: infinity pool overlooking the Pacific Ocean + jungle view, yoga deck, sun deck and an open outdoor dining/ coworking space. All rooms have ensuite bathrooms plus AC.
We are going to stay 150 meters away from the beach, which you can walk to in about 5 minutes. There are numerous shops, restaurants, supermarkets, bars all within a short walk from our new home base. We also have a private entrance to the restaurant next door, which is open daily for breakfast and dinner (Sundays closed for dinner).
The accommodation comes equipped with good internet (30 mbps fibre connection in the entire property)and work tables in each unit. A coliving setup that will make is easy for us all to be productive, feel comfortable, and have the freedom to explore this amazing country!

I’m New to this… How does it Work?
WiFi Tribe has an annual chapter plan model: Successful applicants choose how often they want to travel with the tribe within a year and decide what chapter plan they would like.
Are there changes to Chapters due to COVID?
With borders starting to open up again, we collaborated with our community to decide what our first chapters should look like – both in terms of the fun, and the necessary adaptations. With over 100 responses, we’ve had a lot of feedback and great ideas to work with, so you’ll see a few changes to adapt to the current global pandemic.
Most importantly, we all have a responsibility to the local communities that host us in their countries to keep them safe. Of course, we are also introducing new guidelines and policies to keep one another safe and healthy while we live here together.
As you read through our guidelines below, you will see a combination of all the local government guidelines, as well as additional measures to ensure safety for everyone as we travel and live together. In addition, there will be measures specific to each chapter that will be shared with the people attending that chapter during the 2-week online meet-and-greet.
Every Tribe member has been welcomed into WiFi Tribe because we felt that there was an alignment with our 6 values: Respect, Humility, Camaraderie, Curiosity, Passion, and Inclusion. Now, it is more important than ever that we choose to live by them every day. We will enforce the following protocols as necessary, but we are confident that every member on this Chapter will respect fellow Tribe members and the local community.
